How to Install Marble Stone on Concrete Floor

Marble stone is harder than marble tile that is why its installation is different from marble tiles.

Installation Procedure

  • First clean the concrete floor with the help of water.‌
  • Check the level of concrete floor, if deep holes are present in the floor than fill the holes by lean concrete.‌
  • Now spread the coarse sand on the concrete floor.
  • This coarse sand should consist of fine aggregates.‌
  • Prepare the mortar with the help of fine sand, cement and water.‌
  • Now, install the marble stone with the help of mortar.‌
  • Repeat this step again and check the levels with respective of previous installed marble stones.‌
  • In the final step, fill the joints with the help of grout.

Advantages of Marble Stone

  • Marble stone is very hard.‌
  • It can bear high amount of load.‌
  • If hard material fall on marble stone, it can bear the load without break.‌
  • Chances of cracks are very low.‌
  • They are highly durable.‌Marble stone can be clean easily with the help of water.

Disadvantages of Marble Stone

  • Marble stone is very expensive material.‌
  • It required highly skilled mason to install the marble stone.‌
  • A good quality marble stone is not easily available.
