What is PNG?
Piped Natural Gas (PNG) is environment friendly gas. It emits low carbon. It is used in home kitchens, commercial kitchens, hotels, industries etc.

Gas is used by these industries for application like Heating- Boiler, Thermic Fluid Heater, Furnace; Cooling- Absorption Chiller; Power- Gas Engine and Gas Turbine; Process- for dryers, furnace, oven etc.

Chemical Composition

3. Fire Safety
As we have seen lots of accidents due to LPG but PNG is more safer compared to LPG. It is lighter than air. Its pressure vis only 21 millibar. In case of leakage it will mix with the air and evaporate. LPG is heavier than air. Due to high density, LPG settle down below the air and create higher chance of fire.
4. Control System
Piped natural gas in the pipeline are controlled by using safety valves and pressure regulators. Apart from control devices, inspection devices also used to control the flow of gas. There are no holes in the pipeline. Only minimal holes are used for connections.
5. Convenient
It is very convenient. There is no requirement of booking. PNG is instantaneously available through pipelines 24 x 7.
In conventional LPG booking, we have to book LPG cylinder and wait for months.
6. Easy to Measure
It is easy to measure like electricity. Meters are installed in every home for gas connections.
